Time to prepare for the F-Gas tidal wave

As part of the drive to help slow the onset of global warming, the impending restriction on high GWP (global warming potential) refrigerants in the UK coming months and years, will have a needed but significant impact on the refrigeration and air conditioning sector.

F-Gas Legislation update

Legislation relating to F-Gas has been updated recently and there are changes to requirements in qualifications for those who work on systems and equipment containing fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-Gas).

 

 

New F-Gas Regulations and Brexit – a double whammy for refrigeration?

As part of the European Union’s efforts to tackle climate change, the new F-gas regulations call for the use of lower GWP refrigerants in order to meet the goals set by the EU for 2020.
