QCF electrical qualification from Logic Certification

Logic Certification has had its first qualification recognised under the QCF (Qualifications Credits Framework).  The Level 3 award - Requirements for Electrical Installations to BS7671: 2008 (2011), covers the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and is necessary for operatives wishing to join some Electrical Registration Bodies, Competent Person Schemes or the Microgeneration Scheme.

QCF is a new way of recognising skills and qualifications, enabling candidates to learn at their own pace along flexible routes. This is the first of many QCF qualifications to be delivered by Logic Certification, building on the success of its existing assessment programmes, such as gas ACS and Oftec Oil courses.

Kevin Budd, Managing Director for Logic Certification said: "We are extremely pleased to get our first QCF qualification up and running. It has involved a good deal of work from the entire Logic Certification team, whose dedication and support is integral to the company's ongoing success.  We also received the support of sector skills councils SummitSkills and Energy & Utility Skills and are now developing further qualifications under the framework, the result of which stands Logic Certification in good stead to cement its position as a leading course and assessment provider for the Building Services Engineering (BSE) sector."

Learners interested in undertaking this qualification through Logic Certification should contact their local centre. Training providers will be able to register candidates from 1st June 2012.
