Solar roadshow this February

Solar Power UK is hosting a series of events this February designed to help solar businesses get ahead in 2013. Taking place throughout the UK, the half day seminars will cover hot topics such as the new MCS guide, Green Deal and updates from DECC.
  • Are you a solar installer looking for new ways to revitalise your business and sell your services in challenging market conditions?
  • Are you keen to hear more about the new MCS Guide and want to know how it will impact the products and services you deliver?
  • Maybe, you are considering becoming a Green Deal installer but are confused about how to get involved and want to learn more?
  • Or perhaps you are a commercial business keen on reducing your energy bills and want to learn more about how solar could be the answer?

The event will also be useful for Logic Certification centres who want a better understanding of the forces at play within the solar sector.

Key topics include:

  • DECC briefings on the latest tariffs, performance of systems, return on investment, future proofing against electricity price increases.
  • A full introduction and update to the latest MCS guide - (due to be released in January).
  • Selling solar and trying to make your business profitable in a challenging economic period with a reduced FiT.
  • Top tips on marketing, customer relationship management, business models, warranties and finance options.
  • The Green Deal evolution and what it means for your business.

Speakers will include STA PV specialist Ray Noble, Martin Cotterell (Sundog Energy, MCS Steering Group and STA board director) and Cathy Debenham (YouGen), with more to be announced.
