Apply to become an RHI Training Voucher approved centre

The RHI Training Support Voucher scheme, which offers installers £500 or 75% off the cost of solar thermal, heat pumps and biomass - was launched at the end of October, in Logic Certification's very own Logic4training, at its Northolt centre. We'd like all Logic Certification centres to reap the benefits that being involved in this scheme will bring and urge our approved training providers to register their interest at www.rhitraining.co.uk.

Once registered, you will be notified when applications for training centres are open, which should be in the coming weeks. To become an approved RHI Training Support Voucher recipient you will have to meet a number of criteria, not least that you deliver the QCF qualifications in solar thermal, heat pumps, environmental awareness and/or biomass. Biomass is not currently available through Logic Certification, but will be introduced in the coming months.

At the launch of the RHI Training Support Scheme, Energy Secretary, Ed Davey, described it as the 'starting gun for the domestic RHI', which will (we hope) happen in the spring. The RHI combined with the money-off vouchers should create a lot more interest from installers looking to train in heat-based renewable technologies, a great market opportunity for training centres that take the right steps to get involved.

Register your interest at www.rhitraining.co.uk and don't forget to apply when this becomes available.

If you're a Logic Certification centre not yet delivering QCF renewable courses but want to find out more, contact us.
