The Renewable Heat Incentive Training Support Scheme (RHITSS) has now gone live, meaning installers can apply for vouchers online at www.rhitraining.co.uk and redeem them at approved centres. If you're a Logic Certification centre and you haven't yet applied to become an approved centre, do so now at www.rhitraining.co.uk.
At this time, the ONLY recognised qualifications for Solar Thermal Hot Water and Heat Pumps are Logic Certification QCF qualifications.
-
QCF - Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Heat Pumps Systems (Non-refrigerant Circuits)
- QCF - Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems
This is a great opportunity for Logic Certification centres that deliver these courses. If you don't yet deliver them, but are interested in doing so then apply to Logic Certification immediately for either a qualification scope extension or to become an approved centre.
All approved centres will receive the updated QCF assessment support documentation this week. The updates are in-line with the new MIS technical documents and the revised methods and standards to be used for the RHI. A CPD trainer and assessor briefing sheet will accompany each documentation pack, outlining the changes and how you need to comply with them.
Your next steps are:
- For Logic Certification approved centres already approved for the QCF qualifications - please ensure you implement the new documentation as soon as you receive it.
- For Logic Certification approved centres NOT approved for the QCF qualifications - please complete and return a scope extension as soon as possible so we can start the qualification approval process.
- For centres not approved by Logic Certificationplease complete the new centre application form either using the online application process or the word document which you can email that to our office.
The fund for the RHITSS vouchers is limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis so time is of the essence for your centre and customers.
