GET gets on board with Gas Auditing

Last September, Logic Certification (LCL) launched two new qualifications for those with responsibilities for auditing gas businesses. One of the first approved centres to deliver the new qualifications was GET (Gas Educational Training) in Glasgow.  It’s first group of Gas Auditing Learners attained the Level 3 Award in Auditing a Gas Business at the end of November.  Most of these learners are now working towards the second qualification in Auditing a Gas Business’s Work Management Procedures.

South Eastern Regional College (SERC), Northern Ireland

SERC is an impressive college, with seven sites in Co. Down and Co. Antrim. Narec Distributed Energy to accept SolarCoin cryptocurrency

Logic Certification approved centre, Narec Distributed Energy (NDE), will accept the SolarCoin cryptocurrency as payment for its LCL solar photovoltaic training qualification.

Essex Trade Training: ‘Tradespeople training tradespeople’

LCL is able to support enterprises of all sizes set up and run their qualifications. From large colleges to one-man-bands, the LCL team is there to assist in the set-up and guide centres through the approval stage. Essex Trade Training is one of the most recent additions to the LCL family.

 

Fully Funded Renewable Energy Installation and Maintenance Training Available from NAREC

LCL approved centre, Narec Distribution Energy (Narec DE), will be providing full funded accredited training to electricians, plumbers and heating engineers on Solar PV, solar thermal and heat pumps to enable installers to meet requirements set out in the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).

Moor Training: “Setting the standard for plumbing and heating training”

Moor Training, based in Devon, is a specialist training provider delivering plumbing and heating courses, Level 1, 2 and 3 apprenticeships, ACS gas assessments and environmental courses.

Built from the ground up by an all-female team just two years ago, the centre takes pride in its purpose-built training facilities and is committed to providing exceptional training that prepares plumbers and gas engineers for the future demands of the industry. 

 

Worcester Community Trust: Releasing Communities’ Potential

Worcester Community Trust is a charity that was set up in 2010 to manage six community centres and other community projects in the most deprived parts of Worcester. Part of the Trust, The Building Block, was created to help locals develop their DIY skills and integrate and socialise with those with similar interests. Its aim is to build confidence, help people learn new skills and even start out on a new career.
