Background: |
This regulated qualification is for learners that wish to demonstrate their knowledge in the Initial Verification and Testing of electrical installation systems in the UK. The qualification is based primarily on BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and IET Guidance Note 3. This qualification has been designed to incorporate BS7671:2018 Amendment 2 (2022). This Regulated qualification is part of a suite of electrical qualifications including 18th Edition, Periodic Inspection (Condition Reporting) and a combined Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection (Condition Reporting) qualification. |

There are no formal pre-requisites to this qualification but it is recommended that learners should have suitable knowledge of electrical theory and ideally be working within the electrical or a related industry.
