This regulated qualification is for learners that wish to demonstrate their knowledge in all aspects of testing electrical installation systems in the UK. It combines both the Initial Verification and the Periodic Inspection and condition reporting of electrical installation and is based primarily on BS7671 18th Edition and the IET Guidance Note 3. This qualification has been designed to incorporate BS7671:2018 Amendment 2 (2022). This qualification is part of a suite of electrical qualifications including BS7671, Initial Verification, Periodic Inspection (Condition Reporting). |

There are no formal pre-requisites to this qualification but it is recommended that learners should have suitable knowledge of electrical theory and ideally be working within the electrical or a related industry.
