We are now taking booking for an interactive CPD workshop to support centres in delivering our Level 3 award in Installing, Testing and Ensuring Compliance of Electrical Installations in Dwellings. 

The qualification has been updated in collaboration with some of our approved centres in order to streamline the process of delivery and assessment.

The workshop will run twice:

• Thursday 19^th August from 2.00 – 5.00pm
• Tuesday 14^th September from 2.00 – 5.00pm

 It will provide and overview of the qualification and provide centre guidance on: 

• Resources
• Staff and learner requirements/pre-requisites
• What’s involved in both the theory and practical assessments
• How exams and assessments will be delivered/recorded
• Using e-portfolio to manage this qualification

The qualification, which is designed for Qualified Supervisors for Competent Person Schemes in the UK, is based primarily on BS7671, the IET Wiring Regulations and associated regulatory documents.  It provides knowledge to underpin compliance with current legislation and new requirements laid out in the document Electrotechnical Assessment Specification.
