LCL Awards forum goes virtual!

23 Mar 2021

LCL Awards is hosting its annual forum virtually this year. We're currently working on a programme of sessions and want to hear what centres would like covered.

LCL Awards forum 2021 - what could we cover?

Centre administration: Useful information for new and exisiting centres on the processes required to keep the high standards needed to be LCL Awards approved, from Quality Management Systems (QMS) to preparing for an External Quality Audit (EQA).

New ways of training and assessment: We're developing exciting new ways to deliver training, with more scope for flexible, remote learning and assessment.

New qualifications and industry updates: Renewables are again growing in popularity and we're introducing new qualifications to help with the UK's move towards a low carbon future, including battery storage; a key part of creating homes that can generate 100% of their own electricity.

Guest speakers: We've always been lucky enough to have some great guest speakers. This year is no exception! If there's a topic you're particularly interested in, let us know and we'll see if we can find an expert.

New format: Doing the forum virtually provides a lot more flexibility in terms of the format. We propose spreading the sessions out over a week or more, allowing centres to more easily fit the forum around their busy schedules.

Centres, we want to hear from you!

In order to make the 2021 forum a success, we want to make sure we're covering the topics you want to hear about, delivered in a way that works around running your centre. Please contact Tracy Harker with your siggestions.

Some of the sessions will also be open to centres interested in becoming LCL Awards approved, so please get in touch if you fit this bill.

We're thinking of hosting the LCL Awards 2021 forum at the end of April/beginning of May.
