LCL Forum 2019

20 Mar 2019

We hope you’ll be able to join us for our annual forum on Thursday 13th June.

New Venue

We’re holding this year’s forum at National Conference Centre (NCC) in the West Midlands, just off the M42. The centre, which is a five-minute taxi ride from Birmingham International airport and train station, has lots of space to accommodate our growing guest list for both workshops and networking.

New workshop programme

Our workshops form the main focus of the day and will be delivered by LCL staff and expert guests. We will launch the programme officially in April, but the topics covered this year will include:

  • Apprenticeships
  • MLP
  • Auditing
  • New XAMS system
  • XAMS for ACS

There will be practical sessions for Internal Verifiers, identifying good practice, QMS management and administration and preparation for an EV visit.

We’ll be running a special workshop this year for potential new centres and colleges, on the benefits of working with LCL.

The forum provides a great opportunity for you to meet our staff and keep up to date with what’s happening at LCL as well as network with other colleges and training centres across the UK.

Here is some feedback from a couple of delegates who attended last year’s event:

Ken Brown from Group Horizon: Excellent opportunities for group participation, discussions and Q&A

Martyn Watson from Preston’s College: I enjoy the forum as much for the subjects covered as for the chance to talk to other centres

Come and to find out how we can help you deliver the very best qualifications in the sector.  We look forward to seeing you there!
