14 May 2019

LCL has launched a new qualification - Level 3 Award in Oxy-Fuel brazing within the RACHP sector - for engineers looking for training in the safe use of Oxy-Fuel brazing equipment during the installation, replacement or de-commissioning of RACHP equipment and components.

Who is the qualification for?

This stand-alone RACHP qualification is aimed at applicants with an engineering background, but there are no formal pre-requisite qualification requirements.

What does the new RACHP course cover?

Learners will be given a thorough grounding in the working principles of RACHP oxy-fuel blazing processes, particularly the legislative and organisational procedures relating to the process. The qualification covers the steps that need to be taken in preparation for brazing, enabling candidates to connect RACHP pipework using oxy-fuel brazing techniques.
