Nishit Devani owns and runs new LCL Awards centre, KE Training Ltd in Colindale, North London, specialising in training electrical engineers. Nishit worked as a trainer in a number of centres for eight years before he set up his own business fifteen years ago.

KE Training turned to LCL Awards for help when the Awarding Organisation they had been using for the diploma they’d been running for domestic electricians, pulled their course. Nishit was left in a difficult situation and LCL Awards stepped in to help keep this important qualification available to KE Training’s customers.

Nishit explains:

“LCL Awards’ standards are very high and they have stringent requirements that its approved centres must follow. Their qualification is very good, which is helpful to learners and training centres alike.

“Most of our clients are career changers or working electricians who are looking to build their experience. They’re self-employed so when they take time off to train, they need to get the most out of it.

“Working with LCL Awards has been a great transition and I’m delighted that we are now up and running again. I have four trainers working for me and I’ve decided to dedicate two of them to the new LCL Awards qualification.

“A lot of our business comes through word-of-mouth recommendation, but I do put ads in local publications and sometimes run Google campaigns, I’m looking forward to spreading the news about LCL Awards to our customers!’
