We are looking for Industry Technical Associates to assist in the development of LCL Awards' qualifications and External Verifiers & Technical Experts to help monitor and support our centres in the North of England & Scotland.
Industry Technical Associates – nationwide
A collaborative and flexible role, becoming an Industry Technical Associate is a great opportunity for existing LCL Awards centre experts. Assisting with the development and review of our industry-leading qualifications and supporting assessment documentation, Industry Technical Associates will work alongside our Qualification Managers.
If you are passionate about the industry and want to ensure that LCL Awards’ qualifications and assessments are relevant and meet regulatory requirements, then this could be the role for you.
We are looking for associates in the following sectors:
- Electrotechnical
- Renewables
- Plumbing
This is an associate role with a flexible working pattern, so can be performed alongside centre commitments. Industry Technical Associates could be involved with all aspects of development, including multiple-choice questions, practical assessments and learning support material.
External Verifiers & Technical Experts – North of England
We are looking for External Verifiers (EVs) & Technical Experts to help monitor and support our centres in the North of England and Scotland in meeting LCL Awards' quality criteria.
Suitable candidates must have experience in quality assurance and industry expertise covering the qualifications we provide.
Desired attributes:
- Must hold gas qualifications - domestic and/or commercial ACS.
- Be qualified to level 3 or equivalent in related building services disciplines.
- Will ideally hold relevant qualifications relating to quality assessments and monitoring.
- Have five-years post qualification experience working in the building services sector.
- Have a detailed understanding of the certification, examination and assessment processes.
- Have proficient computer literacy skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft teams and/or Zoom.
- Be organised, flexible and self-motivated, with good time management skills.
- Have good interpersonal skills and can communicate at all levels, with tact, discretion and diplomacy.
- Embrace the principals of equality and diversity.
- Must hold a valid driving licence.
