New F-Gas qualifications launched by Logic Certification
We've launched a new range of F-Gas qualifications, essential for engineers working with fluorinated greenhouse gases in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump industries. Following recognition by DEFRA as a certification and evaluation body, we now offer Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications from Logic Certification approved centres throughout the UK.

Research by the Gas Safety Register highlights the dangers of employing unregistered gas engineers
It's shocking to think that almost five million people in the UK are putting themselves and their families at risk by employing illegal gas engineers who aren't properly qualified to do the job.
Recent figures based on research by the Gas Safety Register, following four years of investigations into unqualified and unregistered gas fitters, showed that 65% of jobs carried out by illegal fitters were unsafe and that one in five of the appliances they fitted were so dangerous that immediate disconnection was required.
Energy Company Obligation scheme reforms
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme is entering a period of change with an increased focus on low-income and vulnerable homes.
As from April 2017, energy companies will be required to provide more help to struggling households, including free energy efficiency measures to make their homes warmer and bring their bills down. The decision comes following the results of the “ECO: Help to Heat” consultation, which ran from July to August 2016.

BEIS publishes RHI consultation response
The government has published its long-awaited response to the recent consultation on the future of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) which offers financial support and incentives for low-carbon heating technologies in domestic UK properties.
Several major changes were proposed by the consultation, with the scheme due for reform in April 2017.
