Logic Certification has changed its name to LCL Awards, in order to better reflect the company’s evolution and future direction. Accompanied by a fresh, modern new look, the re-brand was launched to LCL Awards’ approved centres at its Annual Forum, which took place at the National Conference Centre (NCC) on the 13th June.
LCL has collaborated with Business Edge, industry experts in the air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump industries, on a new high-level Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump (RACHP) qualification. The Level 3 Certificate in the Installation, Service and Maintenance of RACHP Systems will be available to a limited number of approved centres across the UK.
LCL has launched a new qualification for engineers looking for training in the safe use of Oxy-Fuel brazing equipment during the installation, replacement or de-commissioning of RACHP equipment and components.
Logic Certification Ltd (LCL) has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, further establishing it as a leader in its field.
Logic Certification’s series of new year CPD workshops has now wrapped up. Attendees were given the opportunity to explore different topics and feedback on the support that LCL provides, at a variety of locations.

New Venue
We’re holding this year’s forum at National Conference Centre (NCC) in the West Midlands, just off the M42. The centre, which is a five-minute taxi ride from Birmingham International airport and train station, has lots of space to accommodate our growing guest list for both workshops and networking.
We are pleased to announce that Logic Certification is now a member of the Energy Utilities Alliance (EUA).
Following widespread concerns about the consistency and quality of gas training delivery in the UK and fears that the current minimum standards might not be fit for purpose, the Government set up a Parliamentary Inquiry last year to investigate whether a fundamental rethink was necessary, to improve the regulatory framework around training standards for gas engineers.
A recent survey undertaken by Crusader Vans, shows the best locations in the UK for those trading in building services. The survey compared salaries, the number of vacancies and the number of businesses in various locations. The results were interesting – and encouraging.
Logic Certification is currently running a series of CPD workshops across the country for LCL certified centres. The workshops are designed to provide useful information on industry updates and best practice. The first two workshops have now taken place and have been very well received.
