Last month, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), announced Boiler Plus, a new piece of legislation that sits within the Building Regulations framework and sets out mandatory requirements to improve the energy efficiency of domestic heating systems.

LCL centre, NAREC Distributed Energy, based in the National Renewable Energy Centre in Blyth, Northumberland has been awarded funding for two of our renewable qualifications they are running this Autumn - Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems, starting on the 31^st October and Heat Pump training on the 7^th November.

Logic Certification has been working with Morgan Lambert, a company based in Yorkshire, to produce two specialist Gas Auditing courses specifically for the social housing sector.

Three new Logic Certification electrical qualifications have been recognised by the JIB as a route to obtaining an ECS card. All are Regulated Level 3 Awards, covering 17^th Edition Wiring Regulations, Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations and Periodic Inspection and Testing.
